What does the scholarship include?

Each session connects aspiring professionals with experienced stylists, barbers, makeup artists, and beauty entrepreneurs who share insights, demonstrate techniques, and discuss the business side of beauty. It’s an opportunity for students to learn, ask questions, and be inspired to pursue their own path in this dynamic field.

How do I become a member?
Contact us via email at info@ajlegacyfoundation.org with the subject line “AJLF Membership”. AJLF staff will follow up with the next steps, and membership is confirmed once eligibility is verified.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes, membership includes a nominal annual fee. Students are eligible for a discounted rate. Fee details are provided during the application process.

Can I join if I’m already licensed but have been practicing for more than five years?
Currently, the membership is designed for new beauty professionals within their first five years of licensure. However, if you’ve been licensed for 6+ years, we’d love to have you join us as a mentor to help guide and inspire the next generation.
