Salon Sponsorships
Salon Sponsorships offer qualified cosmetology students the opportunity to gain real-world experience by assisting with shampoo services and other entry-level tasks in a professional salon setting. This hands-on exposure allows students to build confidence, develop practical skills, and learn salon etiquette while being mentored by licensed professionals. It’s a valuable step toward helping students transition from the classroom to a thriving career in the beauty industry.
Service Days
This volunteer opportunity requires a monthly, two-hour commitment to provide hair and nail services to 15–20 individuals from underserved communities, including those experiencing homelessness, low-income families, domestic violence survivors, and others in need. Volunteers will use their professional skills to restore dignity, boost confidence, and offer compassionate care through beauty services that make a meaningful impact.

Rooted In Beauty is AJLF’s signature mentorship program designed to connect new or aspiring beauty professionals with experienced industry leaders, offering guidance, support, and real-world insight to help them grow, thrive, and build meaningful careers grounded in respect, integrity, and service.
