The Angela Johnson Award of Excellence
This award is exclusively for cosmetology students at Gaithersburg High School and is by nomination only—students may not apply directly. Eligible nominees must be in their final year of the cosmetology program and planning to take the state board exam within the next six months. They must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (weighted or unweighted), demonstrate strong character and leadership through school, work, or community involvement, and have no more than two unexcused absences during their senior year, as verified by official school attendance records.
